My novel, Lena, Wild Girl on the Prairie, was published May 2025. This is the story of Laura Ingalls Wilder's cousin Lena, who at 14 moved with her family to Yankton, SD. Lena didn't have a jolly, fiddle-playin' Pa or Ma who made vanity cakes. She fought with her alcoholic stepfather and worked full-time to support the family.
